Diversifying from eBay!

This last week was quite the shock to the eBay stores community. eBay is increasing their fees for store owners and people are not happy. I will continue to stay at eBay but my store stock will greatly decrease as a result of this.

A few months ago I opened a shop on Ruby Lane, Lilly's Vintage Jewelry on RL, and I am glad that I did. Actually my sales on RL have been much better then the eBay store, Jewels to Auto Parts, that I have had for years. Are people shying away from eBay because they are getting burned? That's kind of what I've been hearing in the collecting field for Vintage Jewelry.

In Jan 2006, I opened my own website, Lilly's Vintage Jewelry, but everyone knows that websites take a while to get going. That is my long range plan! I just was getting tired of paying huge fees to eBay every month and knew that long term, I had to do something.
